C1 Conversational Version (Polished)

Version 1 (natural and smooth):
Today, as usual, I walked down our trail with our dog Cookie. When we reached the valley, I noticed that someone had built a low stone wall around one of the trees. It’s about 70–80 centimeters high, with a diameter of a few meters—maybe four or five. I have no idea who built it or why, but it looks like someone just felt like creating something nice. And apparently they pulled it off, because our neighbors are already talking about it in the WhatsApp group.

Version 2 (slightly more vivid, storytelling tone):
Today, like always, I took Cookie down the trail. When we got to the valley, I spotted a new stone wall circling one of the trees—about 70–80 centimeters high and maybe four or five meters across. I have no clue who built it or what the purpose is, but it feels like someone simply wanted to make something pleasant. Judging by our neighborhood WhatsApp chat, they definitely succeeded.
