What I would actually take from this video for you

There are really four principles worth keeping:

  1. Have a minimum version of your English routine.
Something you can do even when tired or busy.
  2. Prefer continuity over bursts of enthusiasm.
Thirty imperfect weeks beat three spectacular weeks followed by two months of nothing.
  3. Don't wait for ideal circumstances.
  4. Make English something you want to return to.
Interesting novels, good TV dialogue, conversations, mimicking scenes you genuinely like—not merely exercises you believe you're supposed to do.

When a routine breaks, don't necessarily restore the old routine. Build a smaller one that fits your current life.
